June 2021 - A message from the Commodore
It’s with great pleasure that we announce the 2021 Paddling Season is now in open. In recent weeks we learned about the opening of certain services and organizations throughout Ontario, in turn, the Sudbury Canoe Club began the process of ramping up for the 2021 season. Thanks so much to the membership for your patience during this time; as you can likely appreciate that similar to last year, several measures and approvals had to be put in place prior to us opening the doors.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, we will definitely experience the club operating a little differently than in previous years. Although we’re happy to now be on the water, we must continue working together to ensure our members stay healthy and safe. Through the partnership between the SCC, the Sudbury Rowing Club and the NWSC, our volunteers identified and implemented several measures to minimize the risk of COVID-19 to our members, many of which are highlighted in the documents provided below.
We welcome everybody to renew their membership for the 2021 season through Online Registrations. Following your purchase, our Office Manager will provide further instructions on how to learn about the measures we put in the place, as well as the next steps to activate/reactivate your FOB.
